Who cares if he's a criminal. Edwin Valero killed his wife but if by divine intervension he was brought back to life I should hope that the murder wouldn't preclude a Valero vs. Pacquiao match-- I would pay for that **** and I know all y'all would too. Ok I would watch a stream of it and then download it the next day but you know what I mean.

thats the thing about margs he is known as this brave mexican warrior but in reality he is one of boxings biggest cowards who not only attempted to load his gloves against a fighter considered way past his best but also only wants rematches with guys he already beat. after the cotto fight he wouldnt mention williams name and now he doesnt mention mosleys but if you bring up cintron or cotto 2 guys he already beat he jumps at the chance.

No youre not the only one who feels this way, but unfortunately you and I are in the minority. That incident didnt get enough attention, there is no telling how many fighters Margarito has ruined while getting RICH in the process, its a disgrace, Congress should have stepped in or somebody, something more should have been done and this should have been bigger news than it was.

The problem is that alot of promoters only care about the money and couldnt care less about their fighters. We didnt hear anything from Bob Arum when Margarito got caught, and it would proberbly have been the same with Don King. Promoters like those two are ruining boxing but there are some good promoters out there who do care, Someone like Lou DiBella for example would not have allowed Margarito to get away with it the way Arum did. I remember after Jermain Taylor got knocked out by Abraham, DiBella went and said to him that he needed to take some time off to recover or retire. This showed how much he cared because he brought Taylor through and didnt want to see him take more punishment. Would Arum have done that? I highly doubt it.

What annoys me is that fans don't seem to care, It's one thing for a promoter to not care but for fans like ourselves to not care is bad also. I don't even like Cotto and Cintron as fighters but I feel sorry for them because their career's have been ruined by this guy.

What kind of example is Arum setting to young up and coming boxers and fighters in general? "Yeah go ahead, Cheat all you want, Because as long as your signed with Top Rank you will just get a slap on the wrist suspension and we'll bring you back and give you more big money fights!".

i could diffinitly see y cotto would want a rematch for his carrer and revenge that loss. but its one of those wins on margs side that is very doubtful and his carrer hasnt been fruitful since!!

**** Margarito seriously. The man got caught with plaster in his gloves, I do not want to see him get ANY big fights. He basically destroyed Cotto's career and then got caught cheating, He shouldnt get a prize for cheating with a rematch. I know Bob Arum doesnt care but if it was me promoting Margarito id like to think I would be like "I cant promote you anymore" because what the guy did was unforgiveable. It was disgraceful, I cant believe people dont seem to care anymore and are just like "I dont care, let's bring him back".

When i think about this fight, i always jump to the conclusion that Marg will do what he did to Cotto all over again, but then again we really don't know what Marg has left at this point. I hate to see Cotto get beat down like he did the first time or worse, but it just might make for a great fight.

I know, Some fans are "boxing fans" and other fans just like one fighter. Im one of those people who just loves the sport of boxing as a whole, And I think it's terrible that in today's world cheating is just swept under the carpet like it doesnt matter. And I dont understand why nobody questions Bob Arum over this, The guy is setting a terrible example to other boxers and promoters with what he is doing with Margarito.

He was even talking about matching Margarito with Pacquiao not too long ago. I know HBO will never put Margarito on their network again but people like Arum just dont care. As long as he is making money, He doesnt care who he is promoting or what is in their gloves.

You are right. I agree, but there are so many idiots everywhere that don't understand that the cheating piece of **** should be in jail with his whole team of criminals.
Listen to paulf for example: he says he wont respect Cotto until he gives the cheater a rematch. Tell me now isn't he a complete moron? You will tell me who cares who paulf respects? But still he wants to show the world how ****** a man can be.
