This was a very silly mistake made by oscar. He basically gave the fight away when he had it won.

i agree that he was using lateral movement and boxing very well in the first half...second half he was running...he was listening to gil clancy tell him he had the fight in the bag too early, and thought he could coast to a decision on name recognition alone...NOT...thats why after he evaluated the fight days and weeks later, clancy was 86'd...

I agree, I still think he did enough to eek out a ud, but obviously the judges were using a different criteria to me. Either way it would of been a Pyrrhic victory at best if he won, due to the fact that he embarrassed himself using such tactics.

Hopkins-Tito and Hopkins-Pavlik, I think are the only two Hopkins fights I enjoyed watching

Either way its an embarrassing way to win a fight, I've got enough rounds in the bag so I wont fight anymore. I can't see how he can blame Clancy, he must of known that's not how a Mexican fighter supposed to fight

I remember people during the buildup to the fight saying it might compare to Leonard-Hearns or even Hagler-Hearns, lol

Nunn was a gifted athlete, he basically glided around the ring. His problem was that he couldn't walk away from the street life, shame what happened to him.

Jones Nunn would of been a great fight as well, shame it didn't happen when it supposed to

It was the strategy he used that impressed me in those fights, but I have to admit most of his fights are hard to watch
