He made an adjustment in that fight by blocking the hook with arm. Good adaptability there.

Well he made that adjustment after getting hit by the hook like 30 times or something.

He made it relatively quickly. The commentators picked it up, just after they were discussing urango's right hook.

i see you know a lil bit about real boxing. thats some real stuff you said. devon is my brother and i hate when people try to hate on him, even if he wasn't my peoples, he would still be my favorite fighter at 140. somebody had the nerve to say he don't have a jab, he has a very good jab. he was keeping urango at bay with his jab. khan has a good jab too but thats all he has. the haters say he got hit a lot in the urango fight but don't mention that he didn't get hurt and he even knocked urango out, something that berto, hatton, and bailey couldn't do. i asked him who hit harder between urango and witter, and devon said both were hitting like lil girls. and devon did make adjustments in the fight, in the 8th round urango didn't touch him at all and got knocked out. let these haters say what they want but i can make a promise that he is not losing to khan or bradley.

Judging by my sig and avatar you'd think I'd be a die-hard Khan supporter, but I'm actually not. Khan is nothing to me.

Alexander has one of the most crowd pleasing boxing styles I've seen. It's a perfect balance of boxing and entertainment.

He boxes the same way a fish swims in the sea. He doesn't even need to think when throwing punches, it's like a reflex action to him. That's the number one reason why he is my favourite fighter at 140. One of the most fluid and dynamic box-punchers I've seen.

I absolutely agree with you, Alexander has the best jab @ 140 IMO.

You wanna know why he doesn't have to think before throwing a punch? Kevin always made Devon stand in front of his fighters so he can slip and counter. Thats the way he trains, and also Kevin showed him what to do when he gets hit. For example when he does get hit instead of folding up, Devon looks for the next punch to come his way so he can counter. Thats why he had his way with urango.

That's some interesting insight, thanks. BTW Are you from St. Louis?

Devon is a good fighter. The best at 140 IMO but he needs to work more on his D. If you watch the clips of Witter and Urango you can see he's quite open. Only a nuthugger could deny that.

As I have said, I believe him to be the best at 140 but im not gonna be blinded to some mistakes. A fast more elusive fighter can give Devon problems if he doesnt work on that.

I hope Bradley grows the balls to fight Alexander so I could see the 'Storm' die out.
