I agree. Cotto should fight Berto at 147 and win another title at 147.

Yeah. only thing that makes sense.

or Cotto could fight Spinks in a unification fight. at least thats a legit confidence booster and gains him another belt at his highest weight. would help in future negiotations and put Cotto forward not backwards in his career.

Is Arum trying to use Cotto as a gatekeeper? It is to early in Cotto's career to use him as a gatekeeper. He going to end up knock the **** out of Chavez jr. EASY WORK FOR COTTO!

              Cheaters, cheaters and more cheaters

Chavez already got caught using illegal substances to make weight , and although we all know that Cotto will win very easy, this gives Cotto more time to rest and get ready for the big names. Arum keep trying to make a star out of this nobodies, First Foreman and now Chavez jr, keep feeding the lion this little puppies!

I'd have to agree with you in regards to it being a step down for Cotto as far as competition goes..but business wise..its a good move..so many people would buy that ppv to see Chavez get KO'd.alot of mexicans dont like him cuz he hasnt shown the heart and passion like his dad did..and he mightve already been gifted 2 wins..they booed him in his home state in mexico for damn sake! lol

Plus Cotto needs a fight like this...too many wars back to back..he needs to build his confidence back and not too mention he needs time in the ring to work on **** he used to have..putting him in there in continuous battles will kill him and his confidence i think right now..
