If by unknown we are saying "non-hardcore fans have no clue who you are" then right now he is because they have sort attention spans and forget about a fighter who was garnering interest then went MIA for reasons we are well aware of right when he talk about him was just starting.

He can get that attention back with another good performance but right now I don't see why Paul would bother if he is looking for names to fight.

I do think he has a long road back. We are more likely to see him in a rust buster on ESPN first before HBO unless they put him on the flipside of something they don't have much money for.

But they liked him a lot and he got knockouts every time he was on BAD.

He will probably fight a rust buster at a higher weight until Anne beats his ass into shape.

Oh, he didn't? WTF was I thinking then? I guess some people think he got shafted then huh? Looking at Left Hook's av threw me off when it comes to the history of that fight. It was a war though. That's for sure. Lol. But my point was and still is that Tua gets credit for that fight and it helped make him a star over here despite Ike getting locked up later. I'm sure if Williams and Kirkland fought and Williams went back to being the Paul of old, his notoriety would increase too. Think what you wanna think though.

Hopefully Kirkland can make 154 get a tune up and get back in the swing of things.

                Ike won but still...

I don't even like debating P-Will with him sometimes. he is cool but at times he is just too biased. Uses to many double standards....

Kirkland wasn't an unknown. Hell AT THAT TIME Kirkland was more known then P-Will was when Margarito fought him.

Using the name value as an excuse is BS.... I don't want to hear that **** and then cry when elite names don't want to fight you when you pull ****? GTFOH....

Sound like a good plan like at 160 he can fight: insert random fighter who has been ko'd alot on FNFs, then maybe Vanes showdown at 154 before a bigger fight.......that is how I would do it if managing him though I doubt Freddie would want to put Maryrosian in with him.

Ann slept under a tree, so you know she's a tough taskmaster.

I remember on ESPN she showed them the tree she slept under, and I kept thinking surely there is a stairwell or an abandoned building in that city.
Something about this made me lol. I like that sleeping under a tree >>> stairwell or abandoned building in terms of hardcore-ness.

Like I told Iceta Ike beat Tua.

                      Why so hostile?

Where did you get that Kirkland was this budding star that everyone knew? It wasnt like that.

Williams doesnt have to fight Kirkland. He wanted bigger names.

Margarito was scared ****less of Paul but eventually manned up. He chose to fight him.

                      Cmon Kirkland? Fuck Kirkland.

Kirkland was a PROSPECT. He wasnt someones mando.
