I really do too to be honest. I mean, I usually root for Canadian fighters to get beat. But Dawson just rubs me the wrong way as a boxing fan. Pascal will have the hometown advantage and Dawson being American is a reason I should root for him I suppose. But people are gonna make it out to be like Dawson is this warrior because he's going to fight Pascal in his back yard.

The reason he has to do that is not because he wants to. It's because he's a dud and has no support over here because of his lame fighting style. Pascal leaves it all in the ring and you gotta respect that. Totally different fighter from Dawson entertainment wise.

Cotto doesn't get much credit for beating a handicapped fighter. And how do we know that won't be the case with this fight with Pascal coming off that shoulder surgery? The date has had to be pushed back for this fight like two or three times because of that. I will concede though if Cloud wouldn't have done that thing of signing with Don King and postponing that fight with that so called hamstring injury with Johnson Chad might've had to fight him for the Ring belt. Cloud really has himself to blame for that I will admit. But I think Ring probably would've pulled this bull**** anyway.

if Dawson wins and he wins impressively, then he is the new #1 P4P until Pacman and Mayweather fights IMO, Dawson would have dominated his division Top 2 Bottom if he beats Pascal, it wouldn't even be nothing left for him in that division, either he would have to move up and fight Steven USS Cunningham or maybe move down to 168 and wait for the Super Six winner or go after Lucian Bute

Dawson don't make ANY EXCUSES, never do I hear this kid say "I won't fight this or that guy because the money is not right" blah blah blah, Dawson has taken them all on in his division and called out Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins and neither one of those fighters wanted anything to do with this young DANGEROUS fighter
