Tougher match up for Dawson? Bute or Cloud?

Cloud is totally unproven at this point his two best wins over 40 year old contenders, one for a vacant title, he is more or less a top LHW by default because there is not much there at 175.

I think Johnson takes him in to deep waters and drowns Cloud.

I just don't like the Cloud nutthuggery and this idea that he is an elite LHW which is more a product IDK

If he beats Johnson it will prove something to me but if its a close fight it will perpetuate my view that professor Dawson gives him a nice boxing lesson and a clear cut 1 on that record.

Bute-Dawson would be a great fight. I think that'd be a tougher fight for Dawson and I'd really like to see it.

Bute-Cloud at a 172 CW would be interesting, and the winner gets Dawson. Or any combination of those 3 in an eliminator-type situation.

Cloud would knock Dawson the F out if they were to meet. So yeah, Cloud would be the tougher opponent.

He'll be forced to fight Cloud. He's got no where else to go.

Got to go with Bute at this point, as he's more proven. He has quick hands (albeit not as quick as Dawson's), hits hard, and can box. Plus you can look at his frame and tell he really drains himself to get down to 168; I don't think he'd risk anything by going up a few lbs for a Dawson fight.

Cloud would be a tough matchup too, he's a hard hitting pressure fighter who throws a lot of punches. I just haven't seen enough out of him to make a case over Bute.

What fighters has Bute beaten that are better than Gonzalez and Woods despite how old they were is what I want to know.
