Tougher match up for Dawson? Bute or Cloud?

Who gives him a tougher fight and which one is more meaningful for Chad's legacy? I'm not asking which guy brings the most money to the table. If Cloud wins against Johnson then Dawson should stay at 175 and fight him for the linear title.

bute is the smaller guy and seems like he has a style that dawson would exploit

if cloud can get passed johnson then dawson needs to fight him if only to shut up everyone who thinks he is ducking him

to answer your question as to legacy i think beating bute would look good now because he is undefeated but overall beating cloud i think would look better on the resume in the long run

dawson is the best boxer in what is arguably the worst division bar heavyweight

I think a lot of detractors of Tavoris Cloud use the Clinton Woods fight to down him on here. But Woods in my view is a better fighter than Andrade is and Bute should have a stoppage loss on his record because of that fight.

Cloud. He's a natural LHW, hits very hard and brings a lot of high-activity pressure. Dawson hates pressure. It'd be more meaningful to hardcore fans.

Bute, however, would have more name value on Dawson's resume (even though people would of course go on to dismiss him as a "blown-up SMW").

Cloud is totally unproven at this point his two best wins over 40 year old contenders, one for a vacant title, he is more or less a top LHW by default because there is not much there at 175.

I think Johnson takes him in to deep waters and drowns Cloud.

Cloud reminds me of a younger Glen Johnson, and looking at the success Johnson had (1st fight), I have to go with Cloud.
