  • So Manny Pacquiao doesn't fight for money? He fights for legacy and for his fans?

    Wrong.

Arum had to come out of his own pocket to make the Pacquiao-Hatton fight happen because Pacquiao demanded more money for the fight.

Also, Pacquiao thought that a 70-30 split wasn't good enough to fight Oscar De La Hoya despite it being the biggest payday to date of his life. Pacquiao wanted a 60-40 split???

And now this with Mayweather? Please.........

So you see kiddies for Manny Pacquiao it's ALL about the money

You want to know the difference between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

Answer: Mayweather admits to fighting for money.

Manny fights for his fans and his country, what's wrong with you?
The DelaHoya fight was nearly derailed because of the purse split. The negotiations were very long because of the money.
The Hatton fight was the same,it was nearly cancelled

Pacquiao deserves the bigger split. He's not only a fighter. He's an entertainer.

Your right TS. Manny should just fight Floyd for free. **** Manny for demanding his fair share of the split in this fight and not bowing down to Floyd.

Did you idiots read the rest of the thread? This is a recurring event in Pacquiao negotiations. He's just as greedy as Mayweather. Stop acting like he gives a **** about legacy. He damn near walked away from all three fights over MONEY.

More than true. Protagonist = Money Mayweather. Some bobbleheads still don't get it that it's him who runs tha show.
