2lbs, and you make that a worlds of difference.

Fighting a lightweight at a CATCHWEIGHT of 144lb is bigger ****.

But wait, it doesn't end there, Mayweather couldn't even follow through on the agreed catch weight. He had to pay a fine in order to fight at 147.

1 lb make that much of a difference? really?

          LOL!

Atleast Manny agreed on a catch weight and honored it. Floyd agreed on 144 and couldn't make weight so threw a little change at Marquez and it all went away. LOL!

BOTH Manny and Floyd had 1 (ONE) catch weight fight.. difference is Manny made the weight.
to be fair 600K is alot of money for marquez

            • Manny Pacquiao: I am not concerned about the money from a Mayweather fight… I just want to give exciting fights!”
              By FightFan.com Staff (15-Feb-2010)

Courtesy of the Krystal Hart Show, see what Manny Pacquiao has to say about his upcoming fight with Joshua Clottey and the Floyd Mayweather Jr. fallout!

Manny Pacquiao: “I’m not concerned about the Money (that would have come in a fight vs. Mayweather). I’m concerned about what I can give in terms of my performance to the people who love boxing. My concern isn’t only with myself, but with the people who buy tickets looking for a good fight. I don’t want to disappoint people with a boring fight. I feel you need to entertain the people who watch your fights.”

“I think with what I’ve done in boxing over the last few years I’m happy that I’ve given the fans a good and exciting stretch of fights. I promise you that in my next fight against Clottey I will give a good fight and make everyone happy. Without God I’m not here and that’s important to me. I can’t promise I’ll win the fight but I will give my best to honour my country and boxing fans everywhere.”

              • Better question, taking PPV numbers out of it, WHO DO YOU THINK HAS MORE "MAINSTREAM" POPULARITY BETWEEN MAYWEATHER AND PAC? AND WHY?<---KEYWORD HERE IS "MAINSTREAM".

You are also leaving the fact that Pac-Hatton made more money than Mayweather-Hatton.
whose the moron now? i think you should go reread my mpost. i said "Floyd Mosley 1.4mil + JMM 1.1 mil" not Floyd Mosley 1.4 mil>JMM 1.1 mil

meaning a sum of floyds last two fights >>>>>>>>>>> the sum of mannys last two fights.

and on to your dumbass tanget, floyd pulled higher PPV numbers with JMM than pac did in two fights with JMM. bwahaha

damn yall are stoopid as ****

                    I know that.

But that doesn't change the fact that fighting Cotto at a catchweight was always a bull**** move.

He can fight Clottey at 47' but not Cotto?

WTF? Come on now. What were they afraid of?

Dude was right about one thing "DO THE MATH"

Last 2 fights PBF 2.6 million PPVs vs Manny's 1.95
PBF 70 million+(37.5 in purses) vs Manny's 22 million for Cotto (PPV and all) and around 8 for Clottey roughly 30 million for both fights.
