I spend $300 for my ticket and I don't have to look at any threads what you saying is that nobody here or MOST didn't know about the fight.

So 50k people spend average of $100 dollars on a ticket that they didn't know what it was about? Paid for hotel, gas, plane, food, drinks for something that they didn't know was happening? 700k homes spend PPV money to something they didn't even know was happening? People wasted a Saturday night streaming a fight that they didn't know was on? hahahahahahahaha

Arum expected that fight to do numbers, they def thought that the fight was going to do really well especially after walking away from negotiations. they expected it would put them in a better position for when negotiations restarted. rather, they assumed the fight wouldnt make them lose any leverage...well they failed.

50k asses in the seats is a good showing but look at the revenue it generated. last time i checked, gate is still about how much money you bring in. they fail there too.

the fact that pac had just come out of all the drama surrounding negotiations with mayweather and the fight with clottey was in march...who didnt know about the pac-clottey fight?

where are u from? because if u were from america u know there is to much goin on in this country yeah pacquiao may be talked anout now but like i said it's because what he has done recently he is the flavor of the month so to speak and even with that most poeple over here i'm pretty sure didn't see the 60 min with manny nor the jimmy kimmel live show unless they saw it on youtube or somethin even when manny was about to fight clottey no one was talkin about it and most didn't even know when it was they were more concerned with floyd so you keep talkin about manny doin this and that yet he still is not as popular as floyd mayweather it just seems like that because your on boxing scene but when you walk around new york ,georgia,florida,jersy and ohio more people that know who floy is whether they hate him or love him he is more known, alot of people who know pacquiao know him because he beat oscar or because they want him to beat mayweather so some of manny's recognition comes from the fact that some people don't like floyd and want to see him lose and espn and larry merchant and those people make it seem like manny is the man to **** wit floyd so at the end of the day it just shows that everyone who knows who manny pacquiao is knows who floyd mayweather is not everybody that knows floyd mayweather knows who pacquiao is

Pac fans don't care. I could point out Frazier (much to his displeasure) had to accomodate Ali in their second fight. He didn't seem to understand why as the winner of the previous fight he didn't get the bigger split.

In this sport the man with the bigger numbers backing up his claim gets the biggest split. It's thas simple. The ODLH vs PBF example you used sums it up nicely.

yeah, in this sport, a man can also take another 1-2 years off because he has no other options to make a fraction of the potential money without risking getting ktfo by a no namer

I think the world can live with your boycott while Floyd goes after the linear middle-wt champion. To go from 130 to 160 is an historic feat. It takes 2 to make a fight not one. I didn't assume anything I just noticed that you boldly announced that you would boycott Floyd but you stand with Manny on all his BS. How could someone stand with a man refusing testing in the biggest fight in boxing history? I still haven't gotten over that. Says a lot about why this world is all f**ked up.
