Of course money is a big part of why he fights, but the difference between him and PBF is that it isn't the sole reason why he fights. I don't know how many times PBF has claimed that he only fights for "checks" while the other guy has tried to please not only his fans, but boxing fans in general, whenever he fights.

Not only did he turn it down, but he acted like Mayweather was not an important fight at all by fighting Clottey without trying to make it happen in March.

Pacquiao's team are a joke along with Pacquiao. These people cannot negotiate nor are they too smart. Manny had almost everything in his favor back in March; but times have surely changed since Mayweather trounced Mosley and Pacquiao's boring fight against Clottey.
