I actually go with Hopkins here. His chin is solid, he makes everybody look bad, and the fighters that has given him the most problems were speed guys. Calzaghe was too fast & active for him to get off, and Taylor was too fast for him with the jab.
I think Hopkins could make this fight ugly and win a decision.Comment

As good as Hagler was he is still a small MW.......i hate to say it but i almost favour Hopkins.......i am a fan of the early 90's middleweights.....
- Hopkins
- RJJ
- McClellan
- Terrible Terry Norris
- Julian Jackson
- James Toney
- Michael Nunn
- Gerald McClellanComment

SRL was his last ever fight, can't really use that as an example for someone outboxing him, even then it was close and Hopkins isn't as good a mover as SRL.Comment

Hopkins Embarras him to tell you the truth.
Hopkins is too smart too fast for him.
I will get ****ted on for this but, Hagle is overrated as hell!!!Comment

prime for prime, Hagler is faster than Hopkins......Hopkins is not fast at all........you will notice his losses have come to fighters with "true" speed--------> RJJ and Calzaghe.
there is a good reason he won't fight Dawson. He knows he can't deal with that level of speed.Comment
