hagler better speed than a prime Hopkins? No way.

Also you must be kidding about Hagler bombing Hopkins from the outside, when he is a midget in comparison.

Hopkins only lost to Jones pretty much. His other losses are due to ge, he couldn't fight for 12 rounds and he was slower.

Hagler wins though, to much heart.

Voted Hopkins...but prime for prime Hagler.
bernard hopkins would surpise many by roughing up the great marvin hagler and take him out of his game and i think bernard can out box hagler

Which Hopkins are we taking about anyway?

The more offensive one that beat Glen Johnson or the defensive whiz that beat Tito?

I don't think any MW can rough up Hagler.

Hes not fighting Tito or Winky in there.

Hagler can be physical or he can box.

But if Hopkins tries to out muscle Hagler than hes in trouble.

The Hopkins who beat Glenn Johnson to a pulp was just as defensive as the one who beat Trinidad man. The only difference is the young Hopkins would pummel you and be defensive rather than pot shot you and be defensive, watch his old fights and you will notice his defense was just as good then, the only difference is he would look to stop his opponents rather than win Uds.

Hagler is just a brawler Hopkins is way to good in boxing for him

Wouldn't the more offensive Bhop open him self up to more counters.

If he goes to war with Hagler I think hes in trouble.

Bhop has good defense but he can be caught.

Hagler was a very accurate boxer-puncher.

But I can see a legitimate argument for Hopkins winning as well.

If Hopkins gets caught once or twice in the fight so what? He has an ATG chin to fall back on.
