This hurts my perception of Golden Boy. I'm with Schaefer on the Maidana thing and I think Shaw's criticism-while somewhat understandable- was unfair. Maidana is obviously a warrior who got screwed by his manager. Maidana-Bradley would have been a great fight. I don't like how Khan's being protected, and I have no desire to see Marquez or Diaz fight over 135 anytime soon. Especially if Diaz wins--he's already proved to be a pretender at 140. Unfortunately Arum is right about Tim Bradley. That's the Pacquiao fight I'd most like to see right now other than Mayweather, but only committed boxing fans know him, and the regular sports media is derelict in its duties. You shouldn't need heavy promotion to become a household name if you're out there accomplishing something. If the damn sports media spent as much time actually doing their jobs and covering sports rather than talking about how dead boxing is, boxing wouldn't be near as dead, now would it? Jerks...

co-sign!!!...thats the hard truth!!Sad, just sad. Now I know why people turn their nose up at boxing which I'm almost to that point myself. The best hardly ever fight the best. You've got these greedy promoters making up excuses of why their fighter shouldn't get in with the most dangerous challenge. It's all about money.Comment

I just want to know why in the hell is Khan cherry-picking among friggin' LIGHTWEIGHTS? At least cherry-pick some genuine Jr. Welters...I'm just saying. For all his skill and speed, he sure smells a lot like chump to me. He should watch Pulp Fiction a couple of times and grow some nuts. The dude is sippin' the Weak Sauce. Maybe it's not him though...It could be his manager/promoter, Golden Flake ****tions. If so, that's a big ass soup samich...Comment
