Sad, just sad. Now I know why people turn their nose up at boxing which I'm almost to that point myself. The best hardly ever fight the best. You've got these greedy promoters making up excuses of why their fighter shouldn't get in with the most dangerous challenge. It's all about money. A lot of people on this forum hate MMA. But at least they don't use this **** of this guy doesn't bring so and so to the table. You become a draw by fighting exciting fights and putting on a good show for the fans. Boxing never delivers any **** for the buck anymore it seems like.

bradley needs to worry about alexander, khan, and the rest of the 140 lb-ers.... if he steps up to 147, he can fight shane... tim has no business stepping up to floyd or manny... he got to pay his dues first. bradleys trying to take the express route to stardom. @ 147, he better take on collazo, clottey, berto...

To say Maidana doesn't have a chance against Khan is totally misleading. Maidana not only has one punch KO power but also extraordinary recuperative ability. To be able to keep getting up against Ortiz and keep coming says something. I think Khan would win but I could also see Maidana nailing him and KHTFO too. This is a fight I would like to see...

@Sugar Q: It's easy for you to say NOW that Pacman has avoided everyone, isn't it? When he fought OLDH, everyone and their uncle thought ODLH would KHTFO, didn't they? And then Cotto was supposed to be too big, too strong, huh? You can say whatever you want but after the fight, hindsight is 20-20. Where were you when these fights were made and what were you saying? I bet you picked both ODLH and Cotto to beat Pac but when they got schooled, you just switched tunes...

I respect everyone's opinion, including Bob "I was lying yesterday, but today I am telling the truth" Arum's. However, I have to say that the comment he made about Bradley not being a big enough name to fight Pacquaio it total hypocritical bull****. No one had heard of Margarito and he couldn't draw flies to his fights and could barely get on ESPN when Arum was trying to encourage Mayweather to fight him. So, in Bob Arum's eyes, Margarito was big enough name for Mayweather, but Bradley is not big enough for Pac. Bull****!!!!

like I said, bradley brings nothing to the table at 147 lbs. if he cleans out 140 lbs in a tourney, then he will the natural selection for anyone at 147 lbs.

the margo hype was huge because floyd was ducking him, not to mention the mexican fanbase is huge.

duckstorm's only hype is ducking devon and he has no fanbase at all.

Khan a ducker? I dont think so..
Golden Boy is protecting Khan the same way that Frank Warrren protected Ricky Hatton and Bob Arum protected Cotto, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and to a lesser extent, Pacquaio. If anyone on this forum was following boxing when Cotto was at 140, you will know that Cotto never fought the best competition at 140. He had the chance, but he didn't fight any of the guys capable of beating him like Kostya Tyszu, Mayweather, Judah (when he was still a 140 contender) or even Arturo Gatti or Sharmba Mitchell. Chop Chop Corley damn near exposed him and would have if he had kept pressing Cotto. Arum was protecting him because he knew Cotto didn't have the skill to beat these guys and didn't want to expose him until he became a big name and he could make a lot of money off of him.

Schaffer is doing the same thing with Khan. They know that he cannot beat Bradley, Alexander or Maidana, so they are setting him up with fighters they know he can beat and look good beating, like Malignaggi, an old, heavy version of Joel Casamayor, Juan Diaz, Katsidis or an older, heavier version or Marquez (Marquez can still crack and would be a live dog in that fight, so that may not be the best option for Khan). Once he becomes a big name in America and can make them a lot of money on PPV, they will expose him to the likes of Bradley and Alexander, who will hand him his head the way Bredis Prescott did.

                      important quote from Richard Schaefer:

"It's between Khan and Golden Boy and Freddie Roach Who The Opponents Are"

lol so they are basically admitting that they are Cherry Picking "Golden Boy Protection", I don't think Khan will fight Bradley or Alexander but we shall see, they all probably won't fight until they are up in that 147 division a few years from now
