Im not saying he has a bad chin, but there are definetly some questions.

And Green may not be an elite all around fight, but he is DEFINETLY an elite puncher. If i were to make a top 10 p4p PUNCHERS in boxing, id say Green would definetly be in there.
Kessler has knocked out elite guys with one punch while the only time Green faced an opponent close to elite status he lost on points.

So I don't know what you base your post on. Is it Green's highlight reel KO of a clubfighter?

Green is definitely the stronger man and has a chance...but I think Ward is just too skilled...not to mention he'll be allowed to headbutt as much as he wants considering its in Oakland.

I agree that Green has a lot of power, but not sure how often he'll connect.

Even against Miranda, who has always been inferior to Ward defensively, Green wasn't able to connect that often, and KD he did score was a kind of leaping left hook that Ward would avoid 10 times out of 10.

We'll see. I think Ward is too smart, but everything is on the line for Green, maybe he'll dig deeper than ever before and pull it out. I'd be very surprised if he did though.

Both have questionable chins. Though I think Green is a little underrated, Ward will eventually start boxing circles around him in the middle rounds.

I am an Allan Green fan. The man has personality. I would like to see him shake things up by winning this one, but i just don't see it. His defense is a bit suspect IMO and Ward can fight inside or outside.....not sure about Green on the inside

Come on. Kessler is certainly no monster puncher. Which elite guys did he knock out with one punch? M.Beyer? Haussler?

You are blind when it comes to Kessler He has medium punching power. He is also a bit slow (at this time in his career).

I think everyone's underestimating Green's power because they've been looking at the Simm's and Miranda fights too much. Simm's was a late replacement and an awkward southpaw and he was coming off colon surgery in the Miranda fight and was ineffectual.

If he catches Ward like he did with Codrington or De Leon, we could see a new man at 168.
