    It also seems to give legitimacy to the sanctioning bodies. I'd rather see good boxers than the WBO Southeast Tokyo Interim Bronze Champion against the IBF Northern Alaska Ruby Belt Champion. If we see these type of fights (which I'm worried we would) it wouldn't prove they are any better or worthy of facing anyone at the top.

    It seems like a weak version of the Super Six, but that has one big weakness: Lucian Bute.
    boxing is a gobal sport and it is unfortunate that most people in the states think otherwise, and it will not be structured like the super six which is based of of big name fighters with big time networks behind them. it will be a national thing similar to the world cup formula with an slight olimpic touch to it. the details are still being worked out and a lot depends on which partys are going to participate. but if 60% of the partys that are interrested particapate it will be quite an event. and it is not planed to be a one time event but one that occures every couple of years like the world cup
