use your brain a little bit more-----> you may come to the right conclusion!!!

While I know it wasn't directed at me, i don't mind answering that one.

Yes, Floyd might have had something to do with it but you need to remember that both Mosley and Oscar were past their prime.

Mosley almost 39 and had big time ring rust. That's a no no at any age but at 39, it's not good!

Oscar (vs Floyd) was busier being Golden Boy Productions than DelaHoya. Since his loss to Hopkins in 2004, he only had a 6 round fight with Mayorga. Floyd fought him in 2007. Freddy Roach used the fight against Floyd as the reason why Manny may have the chance to win. "Oscar couldn't pull the trigger anymore".

Both have been hit by heavier punchers than Floyd yet they both were able to dish it back against their opponents. That is, relatively speaking, they put a better showing for a full 12 rounds. Even if they would miss, they still went at it for a full 12 rounds.

Go back to Mosley vs Cotto. Cotto hit him with vicious shots. That didn't stop Mosley from trying to hit back after 2 rounds. Mosley was not the Mosley we know even against Cotto but he was closer than he was against Floyd.

Cotto fan, but can't really vote here. I think both Cotto and May fought very good versions of Mosley. Styles makes fights. Mosley doesn't know what to do when he is outsmarted.

Cotto backed off.......he timed shane with the jab...that is how he beat him, but he backed off a bit and let Shane get back in after he got a second wind......Floyd timed him with the jab and is alot faster than Cotto and can also follow the jab with a right hand......once Floyd knew which angles Shanes punches were coming from it was all over.......i haven't seen Shane that confused and discouraged since his first fight with Forrest......he had no idea what was coming..........Shane is a very vert good 2 trick pony...he has superior speed and power to almost all of his opponents.....when it's not working he becomes more agressive and just tries harder.....like he did against Cotto.....he wasn't discouraged against Cotto because he was able to land and mount offense.......againt Floyd everytie he tried to mount any meaningful offense after rd 2 he was shut down.........

People forget Mosley destroyed Margarito one fight earlier.......Floyd beating Shane in the manner he did had very little to do with a "big" decline in Shane......he dominated Shane for 10 rds.........

i so not dispute ODLH was not in his prime against Mayweather, but floyd beat him easily as a welterweight with Roach in his corner = no credit......yet somehow people want us to believe a severly weight drained and emaciated ODLH against Pac at 147 is an impressive victory..........it's not!!!
