I don't understand what you are saying. You think he should stick around at 154 and hope that Pacquiao or Cotto go to him and ask for a fight? I strongly disagree. Arum will not give Cotto a risky fight like that and Pacquiao will retire after Floyd beats him.

A unification fight with Sturm is "THE FIGHT" at Middleweight.

Those guys you mentioned will not fight Martinez.

Not give Cotto a risky fight? Have you seen his resume? Floyd vs Pac is far from a done deal. As far as guys ducking Martinez, I never seen anyone duck Martinez before and I dont expect any of those to be the first one

I'm guessing at 35, after more than 8 years at 154, Martinez might be having a little trouble making weight anymore though. And he deserves an easy fight after Cintron, Williams and Pavlik in a row.

you do realise if he got rid of his 160 pound belt he would of just had to fight his 154 pound mandatory who i think is (correct me if im wrong) jcc jr n zbik is a better opponent than jcc jr imo

Cotto's resume? Other than Mosley and Pacquiao what risky fights has he taken? Alfonso Gomez? Gianluca Branco? Michael Jennings?

Hardly risky fights at all. Just great match-making by Bob Arum.

Chavez Jr. was not going to be put in the ring with Martinez. You know that.

I don't agree with the TS but what big money fight is there at 160? All the good names are at 154.
