he didn't complain, teh HBO crew thought mayorga won, as did harold ledermands card. no one complained, except the fans on this thread lol

Forrest did complain and even considered retiring after the decision. I don't remember the score but I had it close for Mayorga at first and then I had it a draw. I thought Forrest came on in the second half of the fight and outboxed Mayorga.

i thought forrest won, but it was close.. what lost it for him was overreacting to every mayo punch.... even punches that he blocked, forrest would still run away, it made it looked like mayo was doing more than was...

it could have gone either way and forrest sort of faught scared and was backing up and flying across the ring every time mayorga chased him.. Which may havel ooked bad to the judges. it could have gone either way but it jus seemed lie mayorga did slightly more. Anyone got the compubox numbers?

I think Forrest won that fight definately! The judges were too impressed with Mayorgas bullying tatics and billy bad ass act to see anything that vernon was doing in the ring.

IMHO i think mayorga took the championship rounds well. n thts how he won, i had it 115-113
