I mean why don't they be like Floyd!

When he's peppered with questions about Pacquiao, he shuts them all up with a brilliant reply:

"....Like i said I'm taking a coupla years off"

That's the way to handle stinging reporters!
I'm telling you.. get people on this board some of that EXCLUSIVE A-side meth (only found in the Philippines, and ONLY available to manny Pacquiao). This board will be a happier place.

Respectfully, after the BS you pulled yesterday trying to take my serious question about top ranks matchmaking and try and paint me as a racist I'm tempted to not respond to this post.

That said again check the context of the posts. I thought after both fights were finished floyd gained the negotiating leverage and his credibility was increased in the media. I thought Bob played his cards wrong because floyd was able to prove every allegation about him, scarredto fight big ww, ducker, etc. false with his big win.

And his initial purse $22.5 mil was significantly bigger than Manny's $13.5 mil. I think it just changed perceptions of each fighter to a degeree.

Scared to fight a big welter weight? Clottey is a big welterweight! Cotto is a big welterweight!

Just because they arn't freakishly big like Paul Williams doesn't mean they arn't big. I really don't see any of these so called alligations being proven in anyway.

Plus don't you think it's a little ridiculous that Manny who naturally is a lightweight, who moved all the way up to the welterweight is afraid of fighting bigger fighters? Every fighter he fights is a lot bigger than him so how exactly is he afraid? I'm overexagerrating but is Floyd gonna say Mannys afraid of Lucian Bute next because he's "too big" for Manny?

I mean seriously you can't hold manny to the same expectations of a natural welterweight no matter how good he might be. Just because Manny never fights Paul Williams or any of these other freakishly big Welters doesn't mean he's afraid of them or is ducking them.

floyd was able to prove every allegation about him, scarredto fight big ww, ducker, etc. false with his big win. did floyd fight cotto or clottey? See what I mean about reading? Not Manny, BOB! Bob had the media "on his side" then floyd fought a natural ww who Bob said he ducked and kicked his a$$. Now Bob needs a new plan.

I never has said he is afraid of any fighter. Bob said floyd was but that is out the window after he beat Mosley. hence, Bob needs a new way to undermine floyd.

I didn't say he ducked anyone. He is fighting the fights that make the most business sense. But, once he is at the weight he has to fight the fighters. Thats the standard for floyd then its the standard for manny.

And you owe Big Dun an apology for the slander!

Ok so what your saying is because Floyd did something that every champion boxer is supposed to be doing that gives him negotiating leverage?

I basically told Arum the same thing but he stuck to his no comment stance.
