Why cuz' he struggled against and old Glen Johnson and looked like **** against an old Tarver in a rematch?

This is another example of a guy being called "great" without having accomplished **** yet. First Lopez, then Ward, now Dawson.

NSB is unreal.

It's about being to evaluate a guy's skills by watching him.

And he didn't look like **** against Tarver, he beat him 9-3...again.

He's on his way to clearing out the LHW division.

If you watch Dawson and have any clue as to what tools a great fighter possesses you will acknowledge the future greatness.

It's not always about what they have accomplished, especially in a guy like Dawson's case where his division has been too ****ty for him to have a great resume.

Beat Harding. Beat Adamek. Edged Johnson. Then took the biggest money fight in the division and soundly beat Tarver.

Then Tarver exercised HIS rematch clause to make Dawson fight him again. Not on Dawson. Dawson took care of business again.

People are still clamoring him to give Johnson the rematch. He does, he soundly beats him, and people start complaining that he gave him the rematch too late. Typical NSB bull****.

All of those guys were about as good as it has gotten in the LHW. And KO'ing anyone and calling people out doesn't make one guy any better than another.

Adamek obviously had weight issues. I doubt he could move up to cruiser and much less HW to beat Adamek again. I thought he lost to Johnson and Harding is beyond old and washed up too.

All I'll concede to you is that Dawson is great IN THEORY. Maybe if he beats some hardcore dudes around his own age that are in their prime and actually makes some noise then I'll start coming around.

Adamek has improved a lot since he fought Dawson. That tends to happen when you get rid of Buddy McGirt.

Eh. Cunningham gave him a lot of trouble. Dawson is a significantly better version of Cunningham.

Adamek has turned into more of a boxer almost. He would lose to Dawson trying to box him, and I don't think he could get to him if he tried to walk him down.

hopefully we wont have to wait over a year to see dawson fight again after he beats pascal. I'd like to see him fight Kelly Pavlik after pascal
