This is why the match is so intriguing. I've been looking forward to this fight for a longgg while.

Hopefully Pascal's shoulder has healed properly and he has the proper gameplan to get to work on the inside because Dawson is very smart and knows how to box his way to an easy 12 rd UD.

The very anticipated light heavyweight showdown between WBC light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (25-1, 16KOs) and interim-belt holder/IBO champion Chad Dawson (29-0, 17KOs) is heading to the champion's backyard of the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on August 14. Finally, hopefully Pascal is healed up well and ready for action. Dawson has had plenty of beauty sleep (as usual) no doubt hell be well prepared. Might be a rude awakening to get in the ring with someone under 40 for him though..interesting that its in montreal so Dawson may actually have to win this one in an entertaining and decisive fashion rather than landing and posing.

What long layoff are several of you talking about? Pascal fought last in December and Dawson's last fight was in November. If Dawson has had a long layoff then so has Pascal.

Dawson has not fought any elite fighters? Glenn Johnson, Antonio Tarver twice and Tomasz Adamek. You can't be serious if you say he hasnt fought anybody. Who has Pascal fought except for Froch (not because he is skilled but because he is a popular fighter) and he lost that one. Who is calling Froch an elite fighter? Come on, give me a break.

Very easy fight for Dawson! Dawson is stopping him somewhere around the 3rd quarter of this fight.

Really lookin forward to this one. I got dawson by late stoppage. I think Pascal will bring out the best in Chad but at the end of the day Pascal is out of there. Good to see Canada getting so many quality fights. Boxing is having a great year!! Sad to see so little comments on here, I guess if it isn't about Pac or PBF then nobody really cares. SMH
