Comments Thread For: Nikolai Valuev: Forget Solis, I Want Vitali Klitschko Now!

The former WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev is losing interest in a fight with undefeated Olympic gold medal winner Odlanier Solis. The "Russian Giant" would rather fight WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko right now. They were negotiating the fight earlier this year but no deal was reached. Klitschko's camp said Valuev and his co-promoter Don King were not being reasonable by demanding a guaranteed purse of $4 million dollars. [Click Here To Read More]

Then in the wise words of DMX on the old Def Jam: Vendetta video game:

Then "QUIT ACTIN' LIKE A *****...DOG!"

Stop bein greedy if you so needy. Vital was generous with 2 million. This big **** lucky to even get half a mil.

I hope Don King listens to Valuev's demands. Sauerland and Don King has quite frankly treated Valuev like ****.

I hope you're right and it as Don King that was pricing Valuev out of the fight, because if it was Valuev himself who was asking for 4 million, he's out of his mind.

I want this fight to happen and for Vitali to show the pretenders how to beat Valuev thoroughly.

Valuev is not in the same class as either klit. Pointless fight to make. Valuev should hang his gloves up and climb back up that beanstork where he belongs.

Who is in the same league as the klits? Answer: Nobody.

I think Valuev has earned a big payday and he certainly does not deserve being neglected by his management. Besides: This fight will be huge in the former Sovjetunion and Germany.

Valuev is still a big scalp for Vitali (no pun intended). There are only a few names out there, who could add to Vitali's resummee right now, and Valuev is one of them.

I think Haye, Valuev, Povetkin are the only names of TODAY which matter, Toney, Tua, Holyfield are names of YESTERDAY; and Solis, Boytsov, Helenius, Pulev are names of TOMORROW.

I think Tua is still a dangerous opponent for anybody. That's why nobody wants to fight him. I'd respect either Klitschko taking on Tua. I agree with the rest except I am not so sure the names of tomorrow are anything other than hype jobs - still a lot for all of them to prove.

                  Get this ****ing fight made!

i'd love to see V.K in with someone larger than him, only him and his bro have the size to stand up there and go toe to toe with Valuev.

Everyone else has eeked through decisions, i'd love to see Vitali war with this guy and pund him up.

I'm not sure if Tua is interested in fighting a top guy at all.
