Barrera was very close to his prime as well. Oscar was past his prime.

Pac got his FOTF through achievement, and not entertainment.
At 130 Pac lost to a past prime Morales and JMM but beat Barrera. Mayweather cleaned out this division and beat Corrales.

At 135 Mayweather beat Castillo which is alot better than Pacs win over Diaz

At 140 The Gatti that mayweather beat would beat the Hatton Pac fought. Myaweather wanted fights with Cotto and Hatton at this weight but they turned him down.

At 147 Baldomir, Judah, Mitchell, Hatton would all beat the weightdrained DLH that manny fought.

Mayweathers win @ 154 against DLH is better than Pacs win over Cotto @145.

Pacs fights have been more entertaining that is why he has won the award. If the award is based on achivement then PBF wins by a small margin with Pacquiao pushing him very close. If your baseing it on entertainment then Pac wins by a very wide margin.

if that is the case then why was he not ranked higher than floyd ever!

Regurtitated wins by past prime fighters doesn't make you fighter of the decade. Losing to past your prime fighters doesn't make u fighter of the decade. His accomplishments pale in comparison to floyd and hopkins during this decade.

Before oscar and hatton, no one would dare mention pacquiao as a fight for floyd despite weighing 144 lbs in the last morales fight. Why do think that is? Pacquiao got this hype from beating 2 fighters floyd has already beat!

The award may be called the "fighter" of the decade.....but it is given to the boxer that is deemed to be the best over a 10 year period in the sport of "boxing"

Otherwise they could have given it to Fedor (excuse my bringning in MMA into this discussion) given he is a "fighter" whose dominance has never been challenged.

            This is boxing.....BOXING!!!!!!!!!!!

Pac is a worthy of being deemed the best "boxer" of the last decade. Let's leave it at that.

Where did the TS say that?. He just replied to your ****** answer.which I find very funny. thumbs up to TS.

If you mean the P4P, Floyd was already there even in the 90's before Pac came. With the win over Barrera, Pac made number 8....with the wins over Morales and others he got to number 2. Number 1 can only be achieved if PBF retired or loses. My question........why is Floyd not number 1 when he came back?

Barrera is prime (P4P#3) when he got defeated. Nobody not named Pac or MAB can beat Morales in superfeather even tho he is not in his prime anymore. How is Floyd's resume better than Pac?? Even the *****s know Pac's resume is superb. Check boxrec.

There was already a talk about Pac-Floyd even before Pac fought Oscar. In fact the weightclass they are talking about is 135. One up from Pac and 1 down from Floyd. Barrera made Pacquiao a superstar, Oscar made Pac a megastar............but then SO DID FLOYD.

Pac losing dont mean anything. It doesnt stop the fact that he has wins. Impressive wins. What does it matter if he lost, if on the other hand he beat Mike Tyson. If he beat Mike Tyson would a loss really count against Pac? Its what you do. Pacs loss is irrelavant. Pac is fighter of the decade because of achievements. For beating Hatton in 2 rounds is a better achievement than a 10 round KO. Beating DLH in 7 rounds is better than split decision. Outclassing and then stopping Cotto is rated higher than any of PBFs achievements.
Thanks i think you get it.
