The sport of boxing dictates Manny should've fought Zahir Raheem when he beat Morales. The businees of boxing dictated Manny fight Morales, a mexican with a huge following for bigger money.

"Slick boxers" do not generally generate big money in this day and age. Floyd does b/c of his persona. Also, it doesn't make business sense to match any puncher/brawler vs a boxer as they are developing.

I agree. The only "slick black guy" Pac avoided was Guzman, so people need to shut up about that. Pac would rearrange every last one of them's face aside from maybe Floyd and Guzman (back when both were Super Featherweights) in 2007.

Then why has top rank not matched them up? I get your point but doesn't that say something that top rank has matched him that way?

Since I posted this in another thread let me respond.

Top Rank are great matchmakers. Their matchmaker, Bob Goodman (i believe) just got elected to the HOF. Top Rank, not me, not floyd, not pistol whip, not anyone, has chosen not to match Manny against a certain type of fighter. In this case its "slick" boxers.

As he does, pistol whip exaggerates a point when making a post. No one on this site can say I psoted "Black fighters are the most dominent Boxers in the world is as dumb as saying that white fighters are the best boxers in the world."

Slick boxers have been a problem for pucnhers/brawlers historically. Yes, in some cases the puncher has won. Duran SRL 1, Chavez Taylor. Instead of ranting in posts, why not question top ranks motives.

In Manny's case in his last 15 fights he has had the most problems with Morales (when he boxed) and JMM. Again, don't get mad at me for pointing out the truth about how top ranked has matched their top earner. That doesn't make anyone a racist.

I also posted like what BHOop said to kelly Pavlik. You left that out too. Maybe had you read that you would understand the point. I never said they are the only ones who can beat Pac. It wasn't about winning or losing. It was about money generating fights.

Bradley, Alexander, and Zab Judah arn't being matched up with him because they are 1. Not welterweights and 2.still b level fighters. The fact that you would even mention Zab Judah a fighter so ***ing full of holes makes you wrong to the 10th power. And if Top Rank doesn't match him up against "certin" fighters then why in the hell are they pushing so hard to fight the best Slick Boxer on the planet? Top rank didn't match him up agaisnt slick boxers for all those years because either didn't fight in his weigh classes or they wern't good enough to begin with. Come on man you really think any of the so called slick boxers you mentioned have accomplished a fraction of what Oscar, Cotto, Hatton, Marquez?
