If Gatti fought Mayorga at 147...

For obvious reasons, everyone has been talking about PBF's next possible opponent, but I haven't read hardly any speculation about Gatti's next opponent...

After fighting PBF, Gatti mentioned he'd like to move up and fight at 147...

Apparently if he loses his fight at 147, he'll say goodbye to boxing...

Gatti needs to be matched up with a puncher/brawler at 147 instead of another supreme boxer...

IMHO, Mayorga, if he could make 147, would fit the bill perfectly...

So, if Gatti fought Mayorga at 147, how do you see the fight going, and who do you think would emerge victorious?...

As much as I like Gatti, and as much as I root for him (heck id even bet on him on that fight) I think he's gonna get ko'd.

Gatti's corner would not get the chance to stop the fight because Mayorga would see to it that Gatti was out cold before they had a shot to do that. Mayorga is a natural welterweight where as Gatti looked to be the weaker man against Pretty Boy Floyd at 140. If Mayorga can take Tito's puches and even floor Trinidad at 160, think of what he could do to a blown up Gatti at 147.

I think Mayorga is so overrated. He knocked out Vernon Forrest who came unprepared, and then he won a BS desician the 2nd time. Thats all the mans done that is noteworthy. The only reason I would give Mayorga a chance is because Gatti swells up so quickly and he is too small.
