This is a tough match up. Khan could easily lose this JMM is an experienced pro-fighter with a killer record and proven punch power. He lost on an SD to Pac-man ffs. I think we all agree punch power isn't related to weight.

Fighting Marquez in a keep busy would be better than fightting Casamoyor or Prescott in my opinion.

Correction: Khan is the one seeking a Maidana fight, whereas Maidana is the one who is "*****" enough to fake an injury.

Then when and only when Khan thought Maidana was injured and unavailable to fight him next, Khan said he'd be willing to fight Maidana.

Then it turned out that Maidana's manager - but not Maidana - had been lying about the reason why Maidana was unavailable and that the real reason was a management dispute. As a result, Maidana sacked his manager.

Once Khan knew that Maidana was going to be available to fight him in November, he suddenly lost interest in fighting him (what a surprise), and said he wanted to fight the Marquez-Diaz winner instead - even if Diaz wins!!!!

JMM lightweight world champion

He was physically dominated at Lightweight. He was only able to beat Diaz and a shot Casamayor due to his superior skill. His natural weight is still Super Featherweight. Plus he's starting to show his age.

Every fighter has a maximum optimum weight. If they are exceptionally skilled they may be able to fight slightly above that weight, but not much above it. JMM's maximum is 130. Due to his skills, he is competitive at 135, but I would bet all my points that Katsidis or Funeka would beat him at 135.

He has no pop north of 135. And when skilled fighters get old, the worst style matchup for them is a very fast fighter. That's why Hopkins struggled against Calzaghe and why Mosley looked so terrible against Floyd. Khan is the worst possible style matchup for Marquez at this stage of his career.

P4P is not a weight class and the P4P lists are not about who would beat whom in a real fight - if they were, the Klitschkos would be #1 and #2. JMM is a natural Super Featherweight and doesn't belong north of 135.

JMM fought most of his career at Featherweight or below. Floyd fought most of his career at Super Featherweight and Lightweight. It's irrelevant and you know it. All that matters is the weight he's fighting at now, and whether he's filled out so that he's a natural at that weight - which Khan has. Khan is a natural Jr Welterweight now. He says now that he was struggling to make Lightweight and feels much better at Jr Welterweight. Whereas JMM could still easily make Super Featherweight if he wanted to - the only reason he moved up was that he's close to retirement and there is more money at the higher weights and he wants to cash out before he retires.

JMM (assuming he wins) will be a tought fight, anyway who says it will be an easy Khan win is seriously under-estimating jmm
