Simple answer. Because he's not into the hype. PBF knows Manny needs him so it's in his best interest to use that to get the best deal instead of acting like an anxious amateur and letting Manny have his way. A seasoned pro who knows he's the biggest draw in boxing will get the best deal possible in his favor. Oscar taught him well. At the end of the day the business is far greater than the fight itself. So many great legendary talents have died penniless from not handling their business.

Although Mayweather Jr. is perhaps the greatest welterweight fighter of the decade, Pacman is the greatest pound-for-pound fighter of the decade, for having won world titles in seven divisions and lineal titles in four divisions, a feat unmatched by no other boxer in history.
