I don't think Manny has a smuch power as Mosley. Yes he ko'd cotto but cotto had to get down to 145.

So those two extra pound would of prevented Cotto from taking those onslaught of Punches by Pac.. I really doubt that.. Cotto looked fine in the early rounds til Pac stepped it up..

For the first few rounds Cotto looked competitive so your saying that extra 2 pounds would of made Cotto even more dangerous cause I saw a lopsided takeover by Pac..

One thing about boxing a fighter knows "he's gonna get hit" no matter how whatever you are at some point your gonna get hit. Floyd shutout both Marquez and Mosley. They barely touched him. Manny get's hit as much as a fighter wants too and that will be doubled when he faces Floyd. Manny is so predictable to a fighter like Floyd that he will barely touch him. You can flip it any way you like but there is a reason Manny didn't wanna face Marquez again or Shane and there is a reason Roach said Manny wasn't ready for Floyd. Everything else is hype.

I think any fighter loses something shedding an extra 2 lbs. Especially if you have a problem making the 147 limit anyway. That last 2 lbs is prob water weight. And yes that would make it harder to keep your stamina for the later rounds. Not dissing Pac in anyway and if you take it as a diss thats on you.

Please be objective. As a reminder, Manny couldn't get JMM out after knocking him down 3x. He couldn't ko clottey. He did ko cotto and hatton both who had previously suffered brutal ko's.

clearly basing off of recent fights:
• pac doesnt gas out & keeps throwing (check compubox)
• pac can take a punch
• pac WILL finish someone off

• floyd doesnt gas out
• floyd DOESNT punch enough (check compubox)
• floyd DOESNT finish someone off

so where do people come off thinking floyd KO's pac in 4-8 rds?!?!? LOL

One caveat: floyd never fought catchweights when he moved up. He also never made someone move down to his weight.

Let me teach you something my dude. An unsure fighter has to through punches in bunches hoping to connect but an accurate fighter like Floyd doesn't. It's not about how many punches you throw but the timing and accuracy of the punches. They said Floyd would potshot Shane but he stood flatfooted and outfought him all night damn near stopping him. Manny doesn't have the mental toughness of Marquez and Mosley. Manny will quit just like Duran did the only difference is Manny will get battered into quitting or the fight will be stopped.
