1. So fighting lightweights when your a Welterweight is ok and its ok to come in over the catchweight limit.. Got it..
2. So Hattons 1 lost against Floyd and hes washed up but after Hatton fought Paulie critics were saying Hatton was a new fighter under Floyd Sr.
Cottos one loss over Margarito makes him washed up now. Go tell that to Emmanuel Steward. Tell Steward its pointless to try to train Cotto cause hes done.

Pac lost to Morales but avenged his loss in two TKO stoppages.

In all honestly regardless of Floyds outside of the ring antics which isnt the reason why he did not get the FOTDecade award.. Floyd will be Floyd inside and out BUT if he fought tougher opposition instead of picking Judah who was coming of a loss, Baldomir, retired when the WW division was callin him out, fought lightweight Marquez, made Hatton move up to his weight then he would of gotten the award

Bottomline is this, Floyd is skilled, technical and a smart fighter but also a smart business man who takes the BIGGEST REWARD WITH LESS RISK..

I think Floyd Sr. should realize that boxing,though bloody and vilolent kind of sport, is a form of entertainment.Pacquiao, to BWAA, provided much more excitement to boxing than Floyd Jr., who retired for almost two years from boxing in this decade.He returned to boxing to fight Marquez who he cheated on the scales.Yes Pacman had draws and a loss but that made him more "human". Anyway the American Muhammad Ali is 'The Greatest" despite having losses.So, if he wants his son to at least get the FOTY award next time, let him fight without those unnecessary stumbling blocks (OST, e.g.) in the negotiation.
