I don't get that impression at all. Especially since Magic Johnson is one of their commentators and Stu Scott practically sucks his penis every time they are on air together.

His actual commentary is always spot on and his keys to the fight are always much more accurate than hbo or showtime's.

I like former boxers being the commentators just like in football or basketball. The best commentator are always former participants. They can give you better or more incite than someone who has not been a participant of the sport. The perfect commentating team to me involves a neutral party or moderator, a fan or coach, and a former participant.

EVERY, I mean EVERY sport has there own idiots. This isnt the first thread ever made to complain about a specific writer/commentator of a sport... If you go to other nba/nfl other sports fan forums I can guarantee you, you will see threads like these.

You obviously haven't watched many NBA games or read articles... Tons of hate goes around Kobe, Wade, Shaq, Lebron etc... You just have to listen to different broadcasts.

There are haters everywhere. The only guy above that get criticized the most is Kobe, but LeBron, Wade, Shaq, doesn't gets criticized that often. Shaq sometimes get criticized for being an egotistical maniac. Wade only get criticized for not capable of leading his inconsistent and lack of depth team. LeBron get criticized for not being serious enough about winning, he's the NBA's most overhyped player, and they expected more from him. Yes, ESPN will always hate on Kobe no matter what. They're always against him even when he win, their biased for LeBron James always affected their Judgement when they talk about Kobe. The media no longer want/need Kobe to be the face of the league.

So why say NBA top players dont get criticize? ALL TOP PLAYERS no matter what sport gets criticize and hated - that is a FACT. That is when you know you're one of the top dogs.
