Yes in the amateurs but a lot of good fighters lose in the amateurs. Mayweather lost in the amateurs. Holt lost to Demitrious(however it's spelled) Hopkins in the am's twice but beat him in the pros.

He whooped Mosley and Oscar both when Oscar was fighting Floyd in 2007. The people who saw it said it was embarrasing!!
