Shaw's Great--I Agree and Good for Him
But this is more evidence that GBP is f*&#in' up the sport. They still aren't as bad as Top Rank though. Arum has nixed so many great fights in recent years that it's a wonder fans aren't running him out the sport.Comment

Stop it!
Wow are you going to be disappointed when he beats everyone, if you think anyone is skilled enough to KO Bradley at 140 you need to do some more research. Bradley is easily the most skilled fighter at 140, he may not be the most talented but it is a ***** to hit him and he seems to punch from all sorts of different angles while having the skills to adjust to beat the fighter in front of him every time. It must hurt for you to realize that he is the "man" in the 140 pound division for you.
Pitiful.Comment

For some reason...Maidana strikes me as someone who has absolutely no qualms of facing ANYONE within his weight class.
Maybe it's the fact that he has the heart of a lion and relentless passion for his profession.
Sorry, Shaw...but Maidana is bound to be a superstar.Comment

But he's too technically flawed to succeed at the top level.
Marcos needs to stay the hell away from Bradley and Alexander, and look to fight Khan as soon as he can. And personally, I got my doubts that he can beat Khan either.
If Khans chin is sturdier at 140, and to be honest I don't think that we know for sure yet, then he will always have a punchers chance but I doubt that Maidana beats the top three at junior welter.Comment

Promoter Gary Shaw is very upset with the recent admission by Marcos Maidana that his back was never injured. Maidana had two scheduled opportunities to fight WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley. He withdrew from the first date, scheduled in June, and said his back was injured and he needed more time to recover. A July date was then scheduled and Maidana once again withdrew with a back injury. Bradley will now face Carlos Abregu at 147-pounds on July 17. [Click Here To Read More]Comment
