Comments Thread For: Marcos Maidana Should Be Punished For Lying, Says Shaw

Promoter Gary Shaw is very upset with the recent admission by Marcos Maidana that his back was never injured. Maidana had two scheduled opportunities to fight WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley. He withdrew from the first date, scheduled in June, and said his back was injured and he needed more time to recover. A July date was then scheduled and Maidana once again withdrew with a back injury. Bradley will now face Carlos Abregu at 147-pounds on July 17. [Click Here To Read More]

Until Shaw chops down a ****ing cherry tree and promises never to tell a lie he needs to stfu.

He doesn't exactly conjure up images of honest Abe himself.

Maidana gets a pass. Not just this time, but any time he wants one.

In fact, Shaw should be sending Marcos a thank you basket for prolonging the inevitable k.o of his poor little Timmy.

Don't worry Gary, Timmy will get ktfo soon enough. Don't rush it.

Stop with the Maidana worship, As much as a I hate Shaw for setting up Chico, Maidana did duck Bradley, Who himself is ducking Alexander.

Maidana should be stripped of his interim-title if he doesnt face Bradley next.

Why r you spewing this nonsense. First Maidana had to lie because he got tricked on to fight somebody for less money, so he needed to pull that stunt.

Second WBa and WBO r 2 different organizations. Maidana doesnt have to fight Bradley to keep his belt!!!!

Wow are you going to be disappointed when he beats everyone, if you think anyone is skilled enough to KO Bradley at 140 you need to do some more research. Bradley is easily the most skilled fighter at 140, he may not be the most talented but it is a ***** to hit him and he seems to punch from all sorts of different angles while having the skills to adjust to beat the fighter in front of him every time. It must hurt for you to realize that he is the "man" in the 140 pound division for you.
