Max has no insight into boxing.

He's not a former boxer like Roy Jones Jr.
He's not a former trainer like Manny Steward.
Unlike Jim Lampley, he has no ability as a commentator.

It's not that a boxer is necessarily always better than someone who has never been in the ring, although that experience does help. But Max also lacks tact and social common sense...

He has NOTHING positive to offer and turns people away with his biases (nuthugging of some boxers and unfair negativity toward others). Max is very UNPROFESSIONAL with his lack of tact, incorrect information and his childish exaggerations.
