Steward may be a May hater but he aint ****** he knows Cotto doesnt really have much of a chance against May. He's commentated for a lot of Mayweather fights and he can even come up with a game plan for cotto to beat him.

I don't think Steward didn't mention Floyd so much as he only mentioned Top Rank fighters. To me it seems obvious Arum is killing boxing because he doesn't want to split the profit, until the day he calls it quits or his time is up boxing will never reach its full potential.

Manny didn't mention Floyd for the same reason he didn't mention Martinez or Williams. He wants no part of them. Manny Pac is highly beatable and easy to hit which makes Steward feel like with the right plan Cotto can get him.

Not necessarily, perhaps Steward wants JCC for another tune-up and then for Cotto to also avenge his two losses and get his credibility back. People want the Marg rematch more than any other fight except Paq/Floyd, add to that if the Floyd fight falls apart it'll be much easier to make a fight with Pac rather than Floyd. Also, why face Martinez/Williams when you can make far, FAR more money fighting Jr, Marg or Pac. You're a Floyd fan you should know that money talks and all the money to be made is with Top Rank, except for Floyd.

I think COTTO should fight PACQUIAO next. Without a catch weight, he beats PACQUIAO. People don't realize what catch weights do to fighters. PAC said NO MORE CATCH WEIGHTS so he's fighting everyone @ 147lbs from this point on. Let's see if that's true. He fought CLOTTEY @ 147.

All BS aside, Floyd is where the mega-money is. Not Manny or no one else. For Manny to make his money TR ****s his opposition while guys fighting Floyd are seeing the biggest purses of their careers. You can get into the hype if you want but it's easy to find the facts. Steward knows that Cotto will get his ass handed to him against Floyd that's why his name was not in the equation. Floyd would BY FAR be Cotto's biggest money maker but Steward is being real and looking out for his fighter.

HEY MAN. GOD-FR33 HERE FROM MKE. I just saw your SIG on a post and agree with you. MARTINEZ and MAYWEATHER should fight next! It would be a great matchup but I think MAYWEATHER loses BIG. I also think while that fight is hsppenening this FALL, COTTO should go after PACQUIAO @ 154 and then fight the winner. What you think? MAYWEATHER wants respect from the world and a fight with the highly skilled MARTINEZ would do it. COTTO wants to regain some luster on his name, what better way to prove it then beating the best pound for pound fighter in the sport.
