One should never assume what another man was thinking. All we can do is break down the words he spoke.

Regardless this is one pointless internet debate

One can assume and should, assumptions are regularly used in a daily basis especially court cases.

Again, Martinez thinks he didn't win.

So he either think he lost or draw. Basically he is saying he felt he didn't beat Williams at all. Regardless if he thinks he did enough to draw

We discussing what Martinez said. The Middleweight Champion felt he didn't beat Williams, yet his fans cry over the decision when their own Hero thinks a draw was his best result. And we are assuming that he was talking about a draw

lol this aint no court case man this is simply a breakdown of the quote which logically can mean two different things. That's all there is to it.

Which is exactly what I said.

For the record I'm no fan of Martinez and was hoping Williams would knock him out. I had money on him over pavlik though but that was a financial investment rather than being a fan of the guy.

                See Pullcounter and Iceta....

When it benefits Williams, this means something.

But when Shane Mosley admits Cotto beat him right after the fight, it's Shane just being nice.

Once again thats all irrelevent because the fight itself was so close that anyone who thought Martinez won is justified in feeling that way. What does Martnez saying "he felt he lost" mean that Williams gets 10 extra point on the score cards? No! If the judges had ruled in favor of Martinez would anyone have complained? No!!

Ugh Cotto vs Mosely was nowhere near as close as the Martinez Williams fight so ugh yeah thats a terriable anology.

I'd love to see a rematch but I'd rather see Williams get a title shot at superwelterweight first and see Martinez unify at middleweight.
