the only way to prove margarito cheated in the cotto fight is a rematch..
if cotto takes another beating like in their first fight, margarito is clean.
if margaritos punches suddenly have no effect on cotto, we can be sure he cheated.
at the end i believe margarito would always beat cotto, he doesnt need plaster.

I tend to disagree. Cotto has declined since that fight and so has Margarito as obvious in his comeback fight. He didn't come close to knocking out the guy he just fought, and Cotto looked slower than he used to look.

I don't think Cotto beating Margarito does or doesn't prove anything and we'll never know if he did or didn't cheat in that fight.

Margarito actually did have to work for the stuff he got unlike Cotto who was groomed for HBO superstardom with a silver spoon in his mouth. And it's still like that now. Hell, Martinez and Williams have to fight a rematch with each other or they can't even get back on HBO. Meanwhile Mr. leg crosser Vacant belt parader gets HBO dates fighting opponents like Gomez and Foreman. Margarito didn't get the love from HBO that Cotto got and that played a big role in his desire to squash Cotto. He showed better stamina, a better chin, better punch technique, better defense. When did Margarito ever get hit with four punch combos in that fight if Cotto was dominating early like yall say he was? Cotto stood in corners at times and just let the guy uppercut him like four times in a row. And Cotto landed single shots every time he connected. Margarito is a better boxer. It's the truth.
