    I don't...

I think GBP has other plans for him..

I don't think they want him to get exposed like Ortiz so they are going to match him up with weak competition which includes lightweights, and old past their prime fighters who are names. They are most likely going to keep him protected and hype him up then feed him to floyd for a big pay day...

    whats your opinion?

Maidana would wipe the canvas with him.

you're right, GBP will never let him get exposed so badly.

No Khan will not fight Maidana. They were hoping that Maidana would lose to that last dude Cayo he fought. Khan isn't even looking to fight guys in his own division. He said he wanted to fight Kastitis. Come on now a guy at 135??? When you got Bradley, Alexander, Holt, Torres, and some other solid fighters to fight?? Look for Khan to stay away from anyone with a punch.

          No.

Not unless they make another mistake by putting him in with a puncher again. I think they learned from last time. Khan will just talk **** but the people who handle him, won't let him fight tough fights.

To be fair to Khan i think he wants to fight the top guys, but his handlers are more interested in making money. The funniest thing is that Khan left Frank Warren because he wanted the big fights. GBP will carry on protecting him just as Warren did. They know the kid has a glass jaw and won't risk him with the top guys at 140.

While I agree that GBP would like to protect him completely, he's gone out so far as to call out Maidana next, so maybe it will get made. He went on record on HBO saying he wouldn't leave 140 until he was unified champ, which is pretty ballsy.

We'll just have to wait and see.

                called out Maidana?

                LMAO!

At the time he so brazenly called him out, Maidana was rumored to have a back injury.

Maidana just recently cleared the air about the beef with his manager, and hopefully before the end of the year he'll be ready to go again.

                Khan won't fight Maidana.

I have lost confidence in Khan, as explained in my thread:

Fighting maidana could have been a sort of "poor mans" sonny liston moment. It's a shame he squandered the opportunity.

Fighters like Ray Leonard would have jumped at an oppourtunity to face a heavy hitter.

If you say you want to fight another fighter, its not like theres a 5-minute time limit on it. As it turns out Maidana wasnt hurt, he was taking his Manager to court.

The fight can easily be made this year.
