After watching a set of Muhammad Ali tapes these past few months, khan has just become the equivalent of utter trash to me. After looking at Ali taking punches to the chin I feel partly ashamed and embarrased. The above statement was one of the many factors which has lead me to disreguard Khan at this present moment in time.
Is this going to be a consistent pattern in khans career?

I can't believe that this is what boxing has been reduced to.
No one has made any attempt at ressurecting the duran/leonard/hearns era.
Sugar ray leonard and Thomas hearns never ducked each other. Now compare this with the B****ing that is going on in the 140 division.
You would be foolish not to notice a big difference in size of balls between the fighters of that era and this current one.
"If we ressurected Wilfredo Benitez RIGHT NOW in the 140 dvivison, I can guarantee you that everyone in that divsion would scatter like headless chickens and retire. GUARENTEED."
This guy would shatter khans glass chin by eye piercing staredown. If He had Ray Leonard tensing up in his muscles, It would be scary to think what he would do to khan without even laying a fist on him.
"We need another braveheart like Sugar Ray Leonard. It's a shame it won't happen in the 21st century."
Nowadays it's all about ducking, dodging, padded records, canned fights and propaganda stunts.
Sorry I digressed, the thread is still primarily about khan.
