David Lemieux Appreciation Thread

[20/20vision]

Kid's got skills and a rabid fanbase behind him. He's been in the loop here in Canada for a couple years now and even though he had been fighting club level fighters for a while you could tell with his boxing skills and the way he sits down on his punches he had a chance to be very, very good. I'm really excited to see him hanging with some stiffer competition at such a young age (Remember, the kid is still only 21). He's got a chance to be the first Canadian born star in this sport in a long, long time.

I'm 50/50 on this guy. But no matter how good he will be one thing is for sure. He will have some very exciting fights

Playboy got power, dont agree about it being better than Abe's. Also when in the hell are they going to step his competition up. Seriously look at all his opponents records.

He has legit 1 punch ko power. If you get hit flush you are done, or the fight is definitely changed.

I think he might have a little more then AA, and his punches are much more compact, unlike AA's loopers.

I didn't expect him to have so much pop. I'd say he's more powerful than AA and his style is extreme aggression out of a tight guard. He bobs, weaves and assaults relentlessly. He pressures you from the get go. I was impressed.

That said, what happens if he meets a tough dude who overcomes and survives the onslaught, is he deep water capable? We'll have to keep watching. I will be.

We won't know until it happens, and it is sure to happen eventually. We will see.
