He is an intelligent KO fighter and I dont think weve seen anyone with skills, and KO ability since IKe destroyed Byrd.

The problem with most KO fighter of today is that they start throwing wild punches once they get their man hurt, instead continuing to box and waiting for that opening. Lemieux's left-hook yesterday was planned and well-timed, and landed perfectly. I hope to see him on FNF again.

He is in a loaded weight class as well where he can choose to be 160 king or move up into $168 division. Promising future ahead.

His short arms help him a lot on the inside. He can definitely rip them up in there, He gets full leverage.

He should work on more head movement though. The better guys he goes in against will have way too many outside advantages. He seems to have good shot placement, timing and accuracy though. He should get some bobbing and weaving work in and also work to the body more.

He got nothing on Masao Nakamura .Ah no but he does seem to have it all he still has to step up another level in terms of competiton but from the sound of it he isnt really a reckless ko fighter who forgets about his skills and relies on power ala Edwin Valero for the most part of his career

I would not go that far. Lemieux has good power in his left hook, good power in his right hand. He can **** no question, but I think it is more of his timing and and the short tight hooks that he snaps that rattles guys up.

Abraham can almost decapitate guys when he lands, he is just too telegraphed and does not land as much.

Hopefully he doesn't get exposed as a hypejob when he fights at a higher level.
Obvious hypejob. Those slow wild shots work against cans, but imagine him in the ring with an Andre Ward. He'll get picked apart and destroyed. Ayala stinks and he tried to trade with a puncher. No elite boxer will make that mistake.

You call out hype job to every prospect. I seriously see you say the same negative **** about everyone. Get out of my thread.

I didn't see any slow shots btw. Wild? Where?

actually watching that video, he wasnt that impressive
To me he just doesnt look slick and hes not that hard to hit either

Guy should be a light middleweight aswell

But on the other hand he is coordinated, hits hard and pretty fast. Reminds me abit like Mikkel Kessler, good but one-dimensional

I have not seen enough of him but his short left hook is a breath of fresh air. He gets great leverage on his punches. But I always root for more prospects, so I hope this kid has the goods. He sure as heck was entertaining last night, and that's what the sport needs right now.
