Are K2 so dominant because their so tall, not so much their skills?

I was thinking, are the K2 bros so dominant in the HW division because they have such a big height advantage,

Isnt it just like a welterweight fighting a Light heavy?

Im starting to think that their huge height advantage allows them to control and dominate their fights.

Obviously they both have good skills, but is the fact they're so tall explain their dominance?

If they were both 6' 2" or 6' 3" would they be able to dominate the division?
    im not sure they would

and no k2 or haye nuthuggers replies wanted, i want impartial unbiased opinions.

It obviously helps that they're tall and rangy, but they also know how to use their dimensions and control the pace and range. Other fights (Nicolay Valuev, Gerry Cooney, Mike White) have been taller and rangier than their opponents but didn't know how to properly use it to their advantage.

If they didn't have this advantage, I imagine that their trainers would train them to fight in a different manner.

Go watch Eddie Chambers completely dominate undefeated 6'7 250 lbs Alexander Dimitrenko.

Then go watch Wladimir Klitschko completely dominate every round and brutally KO Eddie Chambers.

The Klitschkos are so dominant because they have excellent skills.

The Klitschkos are dominant primarily because the division is absolute garbage, then skills, then size. Basically they're the best out of a bad lot by a large margin. To their credit, they do work at staying in shape and refining their skills, which is probably unnecessary given their level of competition. However, were they in an era with prime Holyfield, Lennox, etc, neither one would be holding a belt.

                combination of both.

size don't mean **** without skills.

no one the klitschkos size are as skilled as them right now.

no one with close to the skill level as the klitschkos have the size to compete with them.

The Klitschkos are something special, 'cause they are
                    a) well trained and don't drop off between fights
                    b) among the largest 10% of the division
                    c) but despite their size they are fast enough to match the speed of smaller boxers - they appear slow, but in reality they are fast enough that they are rarely hit at all
                    d) both developed a fighting style which works for them.

Wlad covers his average chin by his jab/holding/leaning back defense, which has not been really been bested since Peter (2005). Vitali seems to lumber in the ring, but despite low hands and his size, he hasn't been really troubled since the Lewis fight (2003).

There has not been another boxer since Lewis of a comparable size (6'4''+), who could combine size with speed & power & brains. And the talented guys out there either lack professionalism (Solis, Arreola), skill/speed (Dimitrenko), size (Chambers, Chagaev), heart (Povetkin, Haye), or several (Valuev) to become a true champion.
