I dont remember Cotto saying no, never. C'mon can you believe that? Specially after the beating he got from Tony and Pac and he is willing to face them, do you think he will say No to Shane. I think Arum said NO because Shane cant sell, not even after he fought DLH twice.

Cotto vs Mosley was a very good fight. But after the fight casual fans didnt want to see that fight. And unfortunately for many, casual fans pay tickets, pay PPV and pay for the fights. Plus add to the interview Mosley gave after the fight, not HBO, the other network. He said that Cotto did enough and good to win the fight. He said that he have to go to the tapes and watch the fight so that is not a very confident fighter. It could had ended in a draw, but after that fight most fan wanted Cotto vs May. Two undefeated fighters and a very interesting fight.

Of course he is going to give Cotto his due(It's the classy thing to do) but I don't believe for a second that Mosley felt he lost that fight.People wanted May Cotto myself included but when May said he had nothing left to prove Cotto could have fought Mosley in a rematch.But like i said Bob did not want him to lose(and he almost did lose)to a GB fighter.

No one was asking for that rematch. Most people had Cotto winning and Mosley even said Cotto had done enough to win. There was no controversy and the fight didn't do more than 350K. Why do a rematch?
