He threw those body punches to get Floyd to drop his guard. As you pointed out, Floyd held the right hand. Shane got a little over excited like he usually does.



If anything he woke Floyd up. Shane couldn't get that right in anymore.

His legs buckled and almost fell on his ass. Sure he probably would have got up, but he would have been in much more trouble. It wouldn't have been a flash KD because he hurt him 3 times in the round, I doubt Floyd would still be there. It also bothers me that you care so much about this, about the smallest detail in Floyds career, and you have to still jock him. It's a bit ridiculous because quite honestly, EVERYONE HAS FORGOTTEN ABOUT MOSLEY HURTING FLOYD! I know he's your hero, but why do you have to make so many defense threads? I know which is why I don't get him. He hurts you and know all he tries to do is head hunt with those overhand rights. Against Tony and Mayorga, both of whom drop their hands constantly (which due to the bad habit do so when they are hurt), it's easy to land those. Against Floyd he really had no chance. hats off the Floyd and that boy is a ****in liar saying he doesn't watch tape. He knew Shane did that, which is why he grab his right hand immediantly after shane had him hurt. If Shane was savy and a better finisher, he could have landed a left uppercut and probably dropped Floyd.
