Doug Fischer: "Floyd won't fight Cotto because he is Pac's LEFT-OVER"

"I don’t think Mayweather or his team like the idea of taking on Pacquiao’s “leftovers,” which is how Cotto would be perceived in that situation. Yes, the Puerto Rican star looked very sharp versus Foreman, but nobody considers the rabbi-in-training to be an elite fighter and we all knew the 154-pound beltholder lacked the power to physically threaten Cotto."

Mayweather lacks power to physically threaten Cotto.

Mayweather knows that Cotto even after two big wars with Pac and Margarito can still have a shot at putting him on his ass. Hell if Shane can catch Mayweather so can Cotto and it will be more precise and come stronger than shane

See the thing is Mayweather has an excuse for every fighter in boxing on why he cant fight them. You wouldve thought Pacquiao vs May wouldve been done already. You wouldve thought back in 2007-2008 Cotto and Mayweather wouldve fought. Mayweather wont take the prime head honchos.

What Doug is trying to say is that Cotto still live in Pureto Rico.

Why not? Pacquiao is willing to fight him again. He's still a big draw. If I was Mayweather I'd do it. Besides Pac fought Hatton and DLH. Mayweather's fought JMM (If you consider that leftovers)

Id consider it a definite left over. Not only that he fought Marquez in a division 2 weight classes higher than marquez'z regular weight and mayweather didnt abide by the rules and came in at the regular limit not the catchweight

If you was Mayweather it wouldn't change anything because Cotto would still be from Pureto Rico.

I dont know about that Floyd definitely has some pop more than people think. With that being said, i would still love to see the fight.
