I am pretty sure Khan Realized he has to fight Maidana or otherwise he's done in the US. Which is what he probably will do this November.

I was just being a smartass.
I was just pointing out that Marquez is not a JWW, and Maidana is.
So technically, the Khan/Maidana fight should be bigger.
I am not under-estimating Marquez either, I will never bet against that man, and I would say he is still probably a sure thing at 135 or below.Comment

...i just dont see Kahn being a crossover star here in america, he doesnt have the same appeal naseem had, i mean Kahn is just missing something to me, hes in one of the hottest divisions in boxing and at this point, i guess its about building his name. I dont know, i guess ill never really be into this guy. He gets stretched in 30 seconds and now hes facing nothing but guys who are either smaller than him or posses no threat in terms of putting a dent in his chin.
I guess itll be ages until we see him against ANYONE who can really crack, until then, im just no interested.
I think it may still be a little too early to judge exactly how sturdy the bridge that Team Khan is building will become, like you pointed out..... it is still under construction.
IF the reasoning behind why Khan appeared chinny at a lower weight is true, i.e. he was drained..... then we definitely have not seen enough of him yet to make a fair call.
I too, am not really interested until he faces a puncher who has skills.Comment

most of you guys on here were saying malignaggi was going to school khan just a few weeks ago and now you are writing on Marquez as some sort of bum against Khan? WTF...seriously Marquez has the skills to cause Khan all sorts of problems.
I will be happy seeing Khan fight either Maidana or Marquez, they are both solid options, have no doubts. What are Bradley and Alexander doing? They were the darlings for you usa guys a few months ago but they are fighting much lower profile / crowd drawing fighters. Khan is going to be the one in the driving seat in this division very soon if he gets a Marquez win under his belt. Maybe not the best in the division, but he will be calling the shots.
I hope he fights Maidana next, but i really wouldnt be shouting its unfair if he fights a genuine p4p champion in Marquez with the heart and skills to shatter Khans dreams
both fights are stella options and will make for good entertainmentComment

I understand try to protect a young prospect coming (khan) up but when you get him ko'd by a virtually unknown fighter (prescott) at the time. Then you try to feed the boxing fans a line of **** about how he is ready to face mayweather or pacman soon with out testing that glass chin is crazy the only thing khan has proven is he can beat lightweights and light hitting boxers and that he can get dropped by anybody with power so i think gbp should hold up the train with all the talk about khan becoming a mega star because one power punch can end all that noise because we as fans aren't dumb we can see how there matching him up with guys he can outbox that don't have the power to hurt himComment

Katsidis has been waiting for ages and it should be him who fights the winner of Diaz vs Marquez not Khan - for starters why are they always wanting to put Khan in with Lightweights and if not that then it will be an old guy and if not that it will be another NON puncher its a joke and we all know it - get him in with Bradley or Alexander or even Maidana and he will get totally destroyed !!!!Comment
