The big problem is that neither Floyd nor Pacquiao would fight these two guys. So they should fight at 157 for JR MW and MW supremacy, and the winner of that faces the winner of Pacquiao and Floyd.

DiBella makes some good points, but I thought they should've had an immediate rematch after Sergio got robbed in the first fight.

the WAY THE BOXING WORLD IS NOW ,THEY SHOULD FIGHT NOW AND GOOD FOR HBO TO PUSH THEM TO IT. BOTH ARE COMING OFF WINS,(EVEN THOUGH P-DUB'S WAS CONTROVERSIAL), STILL WINS NONE THE LESS.THERE ARE TOO MANY MATCHUPS THAT WANT TO BE SEEN BUT ARE WAITING EITHER TO BE BUILT UP OR OTHER POLITCAL REASONS.. IE.. JUANMA VS CICLON,ALEXANDER/BRADLEY. IT ALL COMES DOWN TO IT BEING A BUSINESS THOUGH WHEN ALL SAID AND DONE.LOL AT DIBELLA CALLING OUT VANES TO FIGHT MARTINEZ ,THAT IS A JOKE FIGHT.VANES WOULD GET PUT A BOXING LESSON ON HIM .

I think it should happen but maybe PWill could fight for the WBO belt and Martinez like Sturm or Sylvester and then the winners can unify

If Floyd's not fighting Martinez, this is Sergio's best option. Margarito is after Cotto or Pac right now, so get the Paul rematch done.

Martinez is already The Ring and lineal champion, unification is meaningless because the titles are meaningless. You want him to go back and get the WBO title that was stripped from him?

About time we diluted these trash titles. The politics are disgusting and beating Sylvester and Sturm doesn't mean much, they're a paper titlist. The lineage comes down from Hopkins-Trinidad.

Give us the best vs. the best (Williams) or the best vs. the most popular (Cotto, Mosley), **** all those other meaningless belts, they're on the level of the USBA or EBU.

I have a feeling Cotto is going to come into play in the scenario. He's easily the biggest name at 154 and would be a big fight and give exposure to whoever he fights. Personally I would favor Martinez over Cotto big time but Williams v Cotto would be closer.

If I could play match maker, I would have Martinez v Margarito and Williams v Cotto. Winners face off.

On top of this, it's ludicrous and naive to think that Sylvester or Sturm would fight either guy. Only people who have no clue about boxing and are looking at rankings would even suggest that.

I feel dumber for even having read that entire thread.

PWill V Martinez is a natural and it should happen in their next two fights. If Sergio wants a mandatory, he earned it. Pwill got gypped by CIntron and that disgusting laydown, he doesn't deserve a rematch. Cintron was NOT winning the fight, plus he got beat 2x in one fight by sergio and get punked by Margs. He can't beat an elite fighter.

If Angulo would fight Paul that's a great fight for the fans. No way Paul fights Dzindzurek- too much risk. Paul can crush Vanes while Sergio fights his tuneup and they meet again in December is how I see it happenning.

That was my favorite fight last year and the rematch is a pickum. Guaranteed to deliver, one of the top 3 matchups that could be made in boxing.

We can also dead the talk of Cotto v Sergio. Arum would NEVER EVER let that happen. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
